We Are Building More Than Performers
The SONG Project is a community of mentors, educators, artists, and advocates committed to developing the whole child. We believe every young person deserves access to high-quality arts education, academic support, and positive role models. Through intentional programming and meaningful relationships, we empower youth to grow creatively, academically, emotionally, and socially.

SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS
The SONG Project partners with schools and educational organizations to provide high-quality performing arts programming that enhances the school day and enriches the student experience.
We collaborate with administrators and educators to design customized programs that align with each school’s culture, goals, and student needs. Whether during the school day, after school, or through special residencies, our programming integrates seamlessly into existing academic structures while adding meaningful creative engagement.

✔ Curriculum Enhancement
Our arts programs reinforce literacy, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills — strengthening what’s already happening in the classroom.
✔ Social-Emotional Development
Through performance training, teamwork, and creative expression, students build confidence, resilience, and healthy peer relationships.

✔ Professional Instruction & Mentorship
Students learn from experienced artists and educators who model excellence, discipline, and positive leadership.
✔ Increased Engagement & Attendance
The arts ignite excitement and motivation, helping students feel connected and invested in their school community.
Currently, The SONG Project proudly partners with Detroit Public Schools Community District to provide performing arts programming during the school day.

Our SONG Partners
The SONG Project is deeply grateful for the generous support of our partners whose financial contributions help sustain and expand our programs. Their investment allows us to provide high-quality instruction, enriching performing arts experiences, mentorship opportunities, and the resources needed to create a safe and inspiring environment for our students.
Because of their commitment, we are able to continue developing young artists academically, creatively, and personally. Our partners are more than sponsors — they are essential collaborators in our mission to empower youth and strengthen our community through the arts.
